Emotional Revelation: Baba Siddique Killer’s Mother and Grandmother Demand Justice with Heart-Wrenching Plea
In a dramatic turn of events following the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, the families of the accused claim they have severed all ties with their relatives involved in the crime. Baba Siddique, a Mumbai MLA and former minister, was fatally shot multiple times outside his son’s office and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
Authorities have apprehended two suspects—Gurmail Singh, from Haryana, and Dharamraj Kashyap, from Uttar Pradesh—in connection with the murder. Investigations continue as two other suspects, Shiva from Bahraich and Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar, remain at large.
Speaking to ANI, the family of Gurmail Singh distanced themselves from him following his arrest. His grandmother expressed complete disassociation, stating, “He was my grandson, but he is nothing to me now.” Singh’s mother claimed ignorance of his activities in Mumbai, as she believed he was working in a scrapyard in Pune. She mentioned that he last visited the family during Holi and rarely communicated afterward, aside from sending a small sum of money when his sister fell ill.
Similarly, Dharamraj Kashyap’s mother revealed that her son had also left to work in a scrapyard in Pune and had only been in contact once since his departure. She was only informed about his situation by the police.
The murder of Baba Siddique has sent shockwaves across the community, as questions remain about the motives behind the killing and the extent of planning involved. As investigations unfold, the police continue to seek the remaining two suspects linked to this high-profile case. This incident highlights not only the tragic loss but also the familial fallout that can arise in the wake of criminal activity.
