Rajnath Singh Triumphantly Unveils 18 Transformative BRO Projects in Arunachal: A Bold Leap for National Security
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 18 significant infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Arunachal Pradesh through a virtual ceremony on Saturday. These projects, executed under Project Brahmank, include three crucial roads, 14 bridges, and a helipad, highlighting the strides in enhancing connectivity in the region.
Joining virtually from Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. Gen. (retd) KT Parnaik underscored the strategic value of these infrastructures. He emphasized their role in bolstering national security, enhancing surface and air communication, and boosting tourism, thereby facilitating overall development in the state. The Governor also expressed gratitude to the central government for realizing these essential projects, which align with the ‘Vibrant Border Village’ program and the state’s ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ initiative aimed at bringing administration closer to the people.
Additionally, Arunachal Pradesh’s Law and Justice Minister, Kento Jini, attended the event in person from Aalo, West Siang district. He remarked on the transformative impact these projects will have on the state’s connectivity, paving the way for economic growth and a prosperous future.
