Due to Pre Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking works at Nalbari, Ghograpar, Rangiya, Kendukona, and Baihata Railway Stations for the commissioning of a double line in Nalbari-Baihata under Rangiya division, several train services will experience disruptions. From October 21 to 31, a range of services will be affected:
Cancellations: Numerous trains, including Train No. 15753/15754 (Alipurduar-Guwahati-Alipurduar) and Train No. 05803/05804 (New Bongaigaon-Guwahati-New Bongaigaon), will be fully canceled on selected dates. Other services like Train No. 15817/15818 (Shokhuvi-Naharlagun-Shokhuvi) and Train No. 15602 (Guwahati-Dhubri) will face similar cancellations.
Diversions: Many trains will be rerouted via alternate paths, such as Kamakhya-Goalpara Town-New Bongaigaon, New Bongaigaon-Goalpara Town-Kamakhya, and Furkating-Lumding-Guwahati-Goalpara Town. Notable trains like Train No. 15626 (Agartala-Deoghar) and Train No. 12505 (Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal) will follow these alternate routes.
Partial Cancellations: Some services, such as Train No. 05822 (Dekargaon-Rangiya) and Train No. 15927 (Rangiya-New Tinsukia), will be partially canceled between certain stations on specific dates.
Rescheduling and Regulation: Select trains will experience timing adjustments. Train No. 12505 (Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal) and Train No. 15658 (Kamakhya-Delhi) will be rescheduled, while services like Train No. 15961 (Howrah-Dibrugarh) will be regulated.
Passengers are advised to check their travel routes and schedules during this period to avoid inconvenience. The disruptions are necessary to facilitate the infrastructure upgrade, aiming to enhance the rail network in the region.
