Heroic Karimganj Police Rescue: Relief as Three Kidnapped Individuals Safely Recovered from Tripura
The Karimganj police have achieved a major success by rescuing three kidnapped individuals originally from Tripura, who were found in Shilchar. Acting on a timely tip-off, authorities intercepted a vehicle in the Shilchar Road area and managed to rescue the victims: Tanay Chowdhury, Alok Dhar, and Subrat Dutta.
In a swift operation, police arrested four people involved in the abduction. The kidnappers have been identified as Satdeep Chakraborty from Shillong, and Arindam Dutta, Gopen Das, and Suman Das. These individuals are currently undergoing questioning by the authorities. A case has been filed under number 580/2 related to this incident.
The kidnapping has sparked widespread concern in the region, particularly with the festive Durga Puja season approaching. In response, the police are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover more details and maintain community safety.
