Nikita, a Class XII Science student at Dergaon Radiant College, has been selected for an educational trip to the United Kingdom under the Mukhya Mantri Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan programme. A recent viral social media post shed light on her journey and her father’s unwavering support.
During a recent bus journey to Dhemaji, Pranjal, a bus conductor, took it upon himself to repair the vehicle when it broke down. Despite the scorching heat and passenger frustration, Pranjal worked tirelessly under the bus to fix the issue. During this time, he missed a call that would bring life-changing news.
After completing the repairs, exhausted and soaked in sweat, Pranjal finally checked his phone. He was momentarily stunned to learn that his daughter had achieved an extraordinary academic milestone. Nikita’s selection among the top five students from Assam to visit prestigious UK institutions, including Cambridge University, Trinity College, King’s College, Oxford University, and Imperial College, filled him with immense pride.
