Wins for Asufü CI, Pehlum Lamhil LA, and Delai FC at the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy
Kohima | September 19 – Asufü Christian Institute, Pehlum Lamhil Lawn Academy, and Delai FC secured victories in their respective matches at the 24th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2024, held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, under the theme “Goal for Peace.”
Asufü Christian Institute vs. Sahei FC
Asufü Christian Institute triumphed over Sahei FC with a 2-0 scoreline in the first match of the day. The goals were scored by Ngararsingh Raikhan in the 6th minute, and Eloziio Kayina in the 36th. Yellow cards were issued to Davei of Asufü CI and Seimonlal of Sahei FC. Dhanaraj Singh of Asufü CI was named Man of the Match.
Pehlum Lamhil LA vs. Onyx Titans FC
Pehlum Lamhil Lawn Academy delivered an impressive performance, defeating Onyx Titans FC 7-1. Ginminthang Haokip achieved a hat trick with goals in the 45th, 59th, and 64th minutes. Additional goals were scored by Lunminlal (9th, 62nd minutes), Honminlun Haokip (38th minute), and Haothensei (66th minute). Onyx Titans’ sole goal came from Yekuto in the 68th minute. Ginminthang Haokip was awarded Man of the Match honors.
Delai FC vs. Khrietho FC
Delai FC dominated Khrietho FC with a resounding 15-0 victory. Thonggoumang led the scoring with five goals (3rd, 13th, 16th, 27th, 65th minutes), while Haonunreng netted a hat trick (4th, 28th, 63rd minutes). Seiginhao and Hanglenlal each scored twice (35th, 42nd and 57th, 61st minutes, respectively), and Lamminhao and Mangminlun added single goals (45th, 71st minutes). The team also benefited from an own goal by Keneisekho Yashü of Khrietho FC. Thonggoumang was named Man of the Match.
