Joyous Celebrations: BJP Leaders Enthusiastically Extend Heartfelt Birthday Greetings as PM Modi Turns 74
Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 74th birthday today, continuing his long-standing tradition of dedicating his special day to public service. This year’s birthday coincides with the beginning of “Seva Parv,” a two-week event organized by the BJP to honor his dedication to public welfare and his service-oriented philosophy.
In a significant act of public service on his birthday, PM Modi is set to inaugurate 26 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Gadakana, Bhubaneswar. Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, he will visit the Gadakana slum area near Sainik School, underscoring the government’s commitment to affordable housing for underprivileged communities. According to Bhubaneswar Police Commissioner Sanjeev Panda, this visit aims to highlight the ongoing efforts to uplift these communities.
PM Modi will engage with beneficiaries of the housing scheme, emphasizing the government’s dedication to providing affordable homes. Subsequently, he will launch the Subhadra Yojana at Janata Maidan. This initiative, named after Goddess Subhadra, promises an annual financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to over 1 crore poor women, to be disbursed in two installments over five years. This scheme was a pivotal part of BJP’s election manifesto for Odisha, reflecting its commitment to tackling socio-economic challenges in the state.
