Outrage as NPF Manipur Strongly Condemns Heinous Bomb Attack on Minister’s Ukhrul Residence
The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Manipur State Unit has vehemently denounced the bombing at the residence of Khashim Vashum, the Minister of Transport, Veterinary, and Animal Husbandry. The attack occurred on the night of September 14 in Ukhrul’s Hamleikhong Colony and involved the detonation of an explosive device.
In a recent statement, the NPF condemned the act as a “despicable crime” and a cowardly attempt to disrupt peace in Ukhrul. The party expressed alarm over the blatant disregard for human lives and the atmosphere of fear the incident has caused within the community, declaring such actions unacceptable in a civilized society.
Emphasizing the importance of dialogue over violence, especially amidst Manipur’s ongoing ethnic unrest, the NPF extended its solidarity to Minister Vashum and his family. The party urged citizens to reject violence and stand united against such acts of terror.
