Shocking Tragedy: Man Brutally Shot Dead Outside Gym in Greater Kailash – Lawrence Bishnoi Connection Suspected (Video)
A tragic shooting took place on Thursday night in South Delhi’s Greater Kailash-1, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old gym owner named Nadir Shah. The incident occurred as Shah was leaving his gym and was shot several times in public view. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Shah succumbed to his injuries.
Delhi police received an emergency call around 10:40 pm, prompting the start of an investigation. District Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ankit Chauhan revealed that seven to eight bullet rounds were fired, and five teams have been established for surveillance and investigative purposes.
In a twist linked to organized crime, Rohit Godara, an associate of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the murder through a social media post. Godara named Nadir Shah a hindrance to their business operations based on information from an imprisoned associate, Samir Baba. The post warned that others interfering in their affairs would face a similar fate.
CCTV footage captured the chilling act, showing a man in a chequered shirt approaching Shah and opening fire. The shooter then fled on a motorcycle parked nearby. Bullet projectiles and empty cartridges were recovered from the scene.
DCP Ankit Chauhan also confirmed to PTI that the attackers arrived on a two-wheeler, fired at Shah, and escaped. Despite the efforts of Shah’s friends, who immediately transported him to the hospital, he was declared brought dead upon arrival.
Further details revealed that Nadir Shah, a businessman in Dubai, had multiple criminal cases against him. He also functioned as an informer familiar with senior officers in the Delhi Police, according to an NDTV report.
Though independent verification of the social media post and video by Mint is pending, the investigation is ongoing as authorities work to solve the high-profile murder.
