Gold Surges by Rs 10 to Rs 73,320, Silver Skyrockets Rs 100 to Rs 87,100: Commodities Market Thrills Investors
Gold Price Update: 22-Carat Gold at Rs 67,360 in Delhi, 24-Carat Gold Reaches Rs 73,320

In major Indian cities, the price of 22-carat gold today saw modest gains. In Delhi, ten grams of 22-carat gold rose to Rs 67,360, while in Bengaluru and Chennai, it remained consistent at Rs 67,210.
The price of 24-carat gold also experienced an uptick, with ten grams trading at Rs 73,320 in early Saturday trade, as per the GoodReturns website. Delhi priced the same amount slightly higher at Rs 73,470, while Bengaluru and Chennai matched Mumbai’s rate of Rs 73,320.
Silver followed suit with a rise of Rs 100 per kilogram, now selling at Rs 87,100 in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. In Chennai, silver commanded a higher price at Rs 92,100 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, U.S. gold prices dropped slightly on Friday, as mixed jobs data impacted expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut. Spot gold fell by 0.8% to $2,495.86 per ounce, and U.S. gold futures declined by 0.7% to $2,524.60. Silver retreated 3.1% to $27.92 per ounce, while platinum and palladium also saw declines.
