Heavy Rain Alert Issued for Four Telangana Districts
As the monsoon in Telangana transitions, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has projected heavy rainfall for four districts on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The areas expected to experience substantial rainfall include Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu.
Despite a recent decrease in rainfall intensity, the IMD’s bulletin signals the likelihood of heavy showers at isolated locations within these districts. Additionally, the meteorological department anticipates thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong surface winds in the districts of Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, and Mahabubabad.
In the state capital, Hyderabad, and its surrounding regions, the forecast for the next 24 hours predicts predominantly cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, coupled with gusty winds, are expected. The temperatures are forecasted to range between a high of 27°C and a low of 23°C, offering a relatively cool environment for the residents.
Residents in the aforementioned areas are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions to stay safe during this weather event.
