In a landmark moment for football esports, Indonesian player Ichsan Miracle Taufiq, along with assistant manager Manar Wednesday Hidayat, has become the inaugural champion of the FIFAe World Cup featuring Football Manager. Held at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool from August 28 to September 1, this event marked a significant development in esports.
The FIFAe Next Gen showcased a novel multi-title approach, integrating Football Manager with eFootball, thereby creating an expanded platform for diverse gaming communities. The competition saw 20 players, each with an assistant manager, from around the world.
