Assam Education Minister Announces Grievance Submission Portal for Teachers’ Recruitment Drive
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has made a notable announcement on X regarding a new initiative by the Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam. From September 3 to September 8, 2024, the DEE portal will be open for grievance submissions related to the ongoing Special Recruitment Drive. This initiative aims to assist Contractual and State-Pool Teachers in addressing various issues encountered during the recruitment process.
The DEE Assam Portal has been structured to address two main categories of grievances:

On-Hold Applicants: A total of 834 applicants, who have been placed on hold for further verification, are invited to submit their grievances along with pertinent supporting documents through the portal.
- Final Select List Discrepancies: Candidates who have been selected in the Final Select List but encounter mismatches in their district or school assignments can file their concerns via a designated link available on the portal.
To streamline the process, candidates are mandated to upload relevant documents that substantiate their grievances. Each submission will be thoroughly reviewed, and genuine cases will be redressed promptly. Subsequent to the review, appointment letters will be issued to valid candidates.
