Exciting Journey: AP Express to Embark on New Scenic Route Starting Sept. 4
Several train routes will be diverted due to Pre-NI and non-interlocking work at Palwal station under Northern Railway, while some trains on the KK line route will experience short-terminations due to heavy rainfall in the Kirandul area.
Route Diversions:
- Train No. 20805: The Visakhapatnam-New Delhi A.P Express, departing from Visakhapatnam, will take a diverted route via Agra Cant, Mitawali, Ghaziabad, and New Delhi from September 4 to 15.
- Train No. 20806: The New Delhi-Visakhapatnam A.P Express will follow the same diverted route from September 6 to 17.
- Train No. 20807: The Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express, running from Visakhapatnam on September 6, 7, 10, 13, and 14, will also be diverted via Agra Cant, Mitawali, Ghaziabad, and New Delhi.
Short-Terminations:
- Train No. 08551: The Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Passenger Special, departing from Visakhapatnam between August 22 and 28, will be short-terminated at Dantewada.
- Train No. 08552: The returning Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger Special will commence from Dantewada instead of Kirandul from August 23 to 29.
- Train No. 18514: The Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Express, leaving Visakhapatnam from August 22 to 28, will also be short-terminated at Dantewada.
- Train No. 18513: The return Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Express will start from Dantewada instead of Kirandul from August 23 to 29.
No services will operate between Kirandul and Dantewada on the specified dates, as confirmed by K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.
Passengers are advised to take note of these changes and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
