This collaborative effort involves deploying a unified technology solution to modernize and streamline cloud security operations, transitioning from outdated legacy models to a robust zero-trust approach.
According to KPMG in India’s 2023 CEO Outlook, 77% of Indian CEOs regard generative AI as a double-edged sword—mirroring global sentiments—with its potential to both bolster cybersecurity and introduce new vulnerabilities. Many organizations in India are currently struggling to fortify their cyber defenses against emerging threats.
The KPMG-Zscaler alliance will deliver broad security services tailored to businesses’ unique needs, emphasizing improved management and visibility. Leveraging Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange platform alongside KPMG’s advisory capabilities, the alliance aims to help organizations build trust and gain from digital technology adoption.
Atul Gupta, head of Digital Trust and Cyber Security Services at KPMG in India, highlighted the partnership as a pivotal step towards enabling organizations to manage evolving cyber risks. Ananth Nag, Area Vice-President for India at Zscaler, emphasized India’s leadership in digital transformation and the necessity of ingraining cybersecurity principles, especially in the context of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. This alliance is poised to help customers navigate compliance and deploy tailored cybersecurity solutions amidst a rapidly changing threat landscape.
