KOHIMA: The documentary film “Headhunting to Beatboxing,” which explores the rich cultural heritage and sonic history of Nagaland, premiered at the International Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. The film, produced by Grammy, Oscar, and BAFTA Award-winning composer Dr. A. R. Rahman, is directed by Rohit Gupta. It traces the evolution of music in Nagaland from the ancient traditions of headhunting tribes to the contemporary musical renaissance.
