Aamir Khan, during a candid chat with Rhea Chakraborty on her new chat show, "Chapter 2," humbly admitted that he doesn’t consider himself handsome, bestowing that title on his fellow actors. In a teaser that promises to excite fans, Rhea playfully asked Aamir if he ever admires his reflection in the mirror. Aamir modestly brushed off the notion, stating that it’s Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan who are truly handsome.
“I think Shah Rukh Khan is really good looking. Salman Khan is really good looking. Hrithik Roshan is really good looking. People often ridicule my clothes, asking, ‘What is he wearing?’,” Aamir said lightheartedly.
The conversation took an unexpected turn when Aamir revealed, “Mujhe filmon se hatna hai” (I want to step aside from films). Rhea, taken aback, suggested a lie detector test, to which Aamir confidently agreed. This revelation aligns with recent comments from Aamir’s son, Junaid Khan, who mentioned his father’s retirement phase and how he was asked to take over Aamir Khan Productions. Junaid, now producing "Pritam Pyaare," said, “At that point, Kiran (Rao) was making Laapataa Ladies and dad was going through this whole ‘I-am-retiring phase’. He even spoke about it. He told me, ‘I am retiring, why don’t you take over.’ So, that’s when I stepped in. I think I have a decent understanding of production. It’s probably one of the toughest jobs in filmmaking.”
Despite these retirement talks, Aamir Khan is gearing up for his next venture, "Sitaare Zameen Par," which will address societal issues related to Down Syndrome, continuing his legacy of impactful cinema.
