Shocking Truth Unveiled: Did Ex-Principal Sandip Ghosh Orchestrate Doctor’s Rape and Murder Cover-Up? CBI Reveals Startling Details
Amid ongoing nationwide protests demanding justice for a 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor who was raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, the CBI is intensifying its investigation into former principal Sandip Ghosh. The central agency is examining phone calls and text messages linked to Ghosh to ascertain whether he played any role in the incident being initially labeled as a suicide.
Ghosh was interrogated by the CBI for over 13 hours straight from Saturday midnight to Sunday afternoon. Despite the prolonged questioning, Ghosh maintained that he had not been arrested. The CBI is particularly interested in why hospital renovations commenced hastily amid an ongoing probe, suspecting possible evidence tampering.
Family members of the deceased doctor suspect that she was “silenced” on behalf of an influential person, alleging that the main accused, Sanjoy Roy, is merely a scapegoat. Supporting these allegations, they have raised concerns over Ghosh’s actions, including making the victim’s parents wait for nearly three hours after her death was reported.
Sandip Ghosh, who resigned two days post the discovery of the doctor’s body on August 9, but was reinstated to a different state-run medical college on the same day, claims to fear for his safety and has sought protection from the Calcutta High Court.
The CBI questions have focused on Ghosh’s role and movements after the tragic event, specifically why he contacted the individuals he did and who authorized the speedy renovation of rooms near the crime scene. The agency is cross-verifying Ghosh’s statements with other doctors and interns on duty that night to determine any potential complicity or conspiracy.
The case continues to unfold as authorities delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding the doctor’s death, striving to ensure justice and uncover any hidden truths.
