Exciting News: Apple Set to Unveil Two Groundbreaking Foldable Devices by 2026!
Apple’s Venture into Foldable Devices: Launch Expected in 2026
Apple is reportedly developing not just one, but multiple foldable devices, with a debut anticipated in 2026. According to a report by 9To5Mac citing analyst Jeff Pu, the technology giant is working on a foldable iPhone as well as an iPad-MacBook hybrid featuring a foldable display.
Last month, Apple signed an agreement with Samsung to supply display panels for a Galaxy Z Flip-style foldable iPhone. Additionally, Apple is developing an “All-screen MacBook” or a foldable iPad, proposed to have an 18.8-inch main display. These devices are still in early stages, but Jeff Pu indicates that the foldable iPad/MacBook is on track for a Q2 2026 release, with the foldable iPhone expected to follow in late 2026.
Meanwhile, Apple has reportedly shifted some engineers from its Vision Pro headset project to focus on foldable iPhone and iPad development. Previous reports suggested the foldable iPhone’s launch might be delayed to 2027 due to concerns about screen durability and creasing.
Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo also mentioned in March that Apple is working on a 20.3-inch foldable MacBook, with mass production set to begin by 2027.
This unfolding development points to an exciting future for Apple’s product lineup as the company continues to innovate in the foldable device market.
