Reliance Digital Dimapur Marks 2nd Anniversary

Reliance Digital Dimapur celebrated its second anniversary on July 18. CACYA Foundation Day Celebration

The Chakhroma Angami Catholic Youth Association (CACYA) celebrated its foundation day on July 14 at St Francis De Sales, Medziphema, under the theme “Remember your creator in the days of your youth” (Eccl 12:1). The event was spearheaded by Rev. Fr. Vekupa George, the Spiritual Director of CACYA, who served as the main celebrant and speaker. The celebration saw participation from over 400 delegates in the Holy Eucharistic Mass, followed by an insightful session where Rev. Fr. George elaborated on the event’s theme. The evening was highlighted by special guest Kereilhouvi Alexander, Retd IFS, who graced the festivities.

Yingli College Conducts Extension Service

The Department of Economics at Yingli College, Longleng, conducted an extension service in Yongam village on July 18. Targeting the local womenfolk, mostly vegetable vendors from Longleng town, the program focused on equipping them with essential marketing skills and business ethics. Faculty members Dr. Chubakumzuk Jamir, Lochumbeni P. Shitiri, and Konchem attended alongside fifth-semester economics major students. Konchem, HOD, stressed the importance of ethical principles such as honesty, integrity, and accountability in marketing, production, and transactions, which are vital for fostering a robust business image and consumer trust.

These events highlight significant community engagements, cultural celebrations, and educational initiatives in Nagaland, reflecting the region’s vibrant socio-economic fabric.
