CM Golay to Attend Dalai Lama’s 89th Birthday Celebration in Dharamshala
GANGTOK: Chief Minister P.S. Golay arrived in Dharamshala today to participate as the chief guest in the 89th birthday celebration of the 14th Dalai Lama on July 6. The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) of the Tibetan Government in Exile is organizing the official event at Thekchen Choeling Tsuglakhang’s courtyard.
Upon his arrival, Chief Minister Golay expressed his gratitude for the warm reception extended by CTA officials. He was notably moved by the traditional performances presented by the Koli community from Kullu-Manali and artists from Nepal, according to an IPR release.
The Chief Minister extended his thanks to CTA officials, including Cabinet Secretary Tsegyal Dranyi, Home Secretary Palden Dhondup, Information & International Relations Secretary Karma Choeying, as well as additional secretaries and protocol officers for their hospitality.
