In Uttar Pradesh, Northern Railways has officially renamed eight railway stations in the Lucknow division. The move, approved by the relevant authorities, involves significant changes to the names of these stations.
Kasimpur Halt has been renamed Jais City, while Jais is now known as Guru Gorakhnath Dham. Misrauli’s new name is Maa Kalikan Dham, and Bani has become Swami Paramhans. Additionally, Nihalgarh has been renamed Maharaja Bijli Pasi, Akbarganj is now Maa Ahorva Bhawani Dham, Wazirganj Halt has been updated to Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan, and Fursatganj is Tapeshwarnath Dham.
