Severe symptoms of high blood sugar may include difficulty waking up, confusion, rapid heartbeat, vomiting, fainting, dehydration, and the risk of ketoacidosis. If these symptoms occur, immediate consultation with a healthcare provider is necessary, as the situation can quickly become critical.
Managing blood sugar involves implementing essential lifestyle changes. Regular exercise for at least 30 to 45 minutes daily is recommended. It’s important to avoid sugar, refined flour, and junk food. A healthy diet rich in fiber, fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains is advised. Sufficient hydration and rest are crucial, along with stress management techniques. Regular consultations with healthcare providers for medication and monitoring blood sugar levels are also vital.
