Nana also suffered physical injuries while trying to escape the dangerous encounter, with the agency noting that both victims are now in need of treatment and rest. While her mother has regained consciousness, the extent of their injuries remains undisclosed.
This unsettling incident follows closely on the heels of another security breach involving K-pop stars, as just days earlier, two Japanese women attempted to invade the property of BTS member Jeon Jungkook. The assailants were caught while trying to access the security keypad at Jungkook’s residence, only to flee when confronted by a fan.
Nana, who debuted as a member of the girl group After School in 2009, has successfully transitioned into acting. She gained further fame through her involvement with the sub-unit Orange Caramel, whose music video “Catallena” boasts over 35 million views on YouTube.
