Free coaching classes for candidates preparing for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group 1, 2, 2A, and 4 examinations will begin in Chennai this Sunday. This initiative comes ahead of the anticipated announcement for the 2026 TNPSC recruitment schedule and aims to provide essential guidance to individuals from marginalized and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
The program is organized by the Ambedkar Education and Employment Training Centre, with support from the All India Insurance Employees Association and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Eradication Front. Over the last 14 years, this government-sponsored initiative has successfully assisted more than 1,300 candidates in securing positions within both state and central government services.
The classes are open to aspirants from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and economically weaker sections across all communities. They will take place every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Chennai training center. These sessions are structured to help candidates navigate the TNPSC syllabus systematically, enabling them to understand the exam format better.
Coaching will include lectures led by experienced trainers, interactive group discussions, and mock tests that simulate actual examination conditions. Organizers believe that these teaching methods have significantly boosted candidates’ confidence and analytical skills, enhancing their performance in competitive exams. “The focus is not just on completing the syllabus but on ensuring conceptual clarity and practical understanding,” they emphasized in a joint statement.
This initiative has been particularly valuable for first-generation graduates and those who cannot afford private coaching. Interested candidates can register at the center by providing a passport-size photograph and valid proof of address. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
