The Under-17 girls’ archery team from Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan (DPVN) in Talom Rukbo Nagar, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, secured third place at the 36th National Archery Meet 2025, which took place in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Team members Nyamne Liza Perme, Aina Daisy Tatak, and Ponung Tayeng showcased impressive skill, focus, and teamwork, bringing honor to their school and community.
Principal Vidya Kant Jha praised the young athletes, stating that their achievement reflects not only their hard work but also the unwavering support from the teaching staff. “Securing third position in the group category at a national-level event organized by the Vidya Bharati Sports Council is a proud moment for DPVN,” he remarked.
The four-day event, held from October 12 to 15, attracted school participants from across India, emphasizing the emergence of talent and competitive spirit within the sport. The accomplishment of the DPVN team highlights the importance of diligence and cooperation in achieving success at such prestigious competitions.
