Union Minister Annapurna Devi Embarks on Four-Day East Trip, Emphasizes Inclusive Development in the Northeast
Union Minister Annapurna Devi arrived in Arunachal Pradesh on a four-day official visit, reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to accelerating inclusive development in the region. As part of her trip, she visited Kra Daadi district and addressed the 7th Poshan Pakhwada event in Palin, emphasizing the government’s focus on uplifting women, children, and vulnerable communities.

The government has taken proactive steps to reach remote and underserved areas, demonstrating its dedication to bridging the development gap. This represents a significant hike, yielding a higher proportion of the overall Union Budget – a notable move towards recognizing women’s empowerment. “This landmark step highlights the importance the government places on supporting women through dedicated budgetary provisions,” she stated.
