Exciting Boost! Arunachal Announces 25% Increase in Tough Location Allowance for Karmveers

The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a 25% increase in the Tough Location Allowance (TLA) for Karmveers, effective for both Level 9 and above, as well as Level 8 and below employees. This decision underscores the government’s commitment to the well-being of its employees to enable them to serve the state more effectively.

According to an official notification, the allowance for Level 9 and above has been raised from Rs 5,300 to Rs 6,625. For Level 8 and below, the remuneration has increased from Rs 4,100 to Rs 5,125.

Additionally, Arunachal Pradesh is set to finalize its state horticulture policy by September 2024. Agriculture Minister Gabriel Denwang Wangshu, who oversees Horticulture, Dairy Development, and Fisheries, revealed that the policy is one of the 24 significant initiatives announced by Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s government after its recent re-election.

Minister Wangshu emphasized that the horticulture policy aims to provide a roadmap for the state’s self-reliance in producing disease-free and high-quality planting materials through certified nurseries and plant tissue culture, thereby fostering sustainable agricultural development in Arunachal Pradesh.
