In addition to the arrests, the security personnel continued their frequent search operations and area domination exercises in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts. The police ensured the movement of essential items, with 235 vehicles plying along NH-2 and 169 vehicles along NH-37. Strict security measures were also taken up in all vulnerable locations, with security convoys provided for the added safety of residents.
