Raring to Ride: Armed Forces’ Thrilling Motorcycle Rally Reaches Guwahati, Now En-route to West Bengal
As the Shaurya Yatra, a 3,900-kilometer-long motorcycle rally, rumbles into Guwahati, the Indian Armed Forces are bringing their message of unity, courage, and national pride to the people of Assam and West Bengal. The rally, which began on March 10 from Vijaynagar in Arunachal Pradesh, will cover a long and arduous journey across the country, concluding on March 23 at the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat.
The riders, a group of 12 members from the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and locals from Arunachal Pradesh, were flagged off at Rangapahar military station in Dimapur, Nagaland, by Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding of 3 Corps. Since arriving in Guwahati, the rally has been making stops to interact with ex-servicemen, who shared their experiences and sacrifices in the service of the nation. The former soldiers were felicitated by the riders, according to an Assam Rifles spokesperson.
As the rally continues its journey to Siliguri, it is spreading its message far and wide, inspiring youth to join the armed forces and promoting national integration. The initiative, themed ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,’ aims to promote patriotism and national pride. The riders will also be interacting with schoolchildren along the route, encouraging them to consider a career in the military.
Throughout their journey, the Shaurya Yatra riders are taking in the scenic landscapes and rich cultural heritage of India, while spreading their message of unity, courage, and national pride. The rally’s progress can be tracked on social media, where enthusiasts can follow the journey and be part of the action. As the riders pedal their way across the country, they are leaving a lasting impact on the people they meet, and inspiring a new generation of bravehearts to follow in their footsteps.
