India’s Vibrant Heritage Converges: “Vivdhata ka Amrit Mahotsav” Celebrates at Rashtrapati Bhavan

President Droupadi Murmu has inaugurated the annual cultural festival, ‘Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav’, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, commemorating the rich and diverse heritage of the nation. The festival, running from tomorrow to the 9th of this month, is a celebration of India’s unique traditions, bringing together artisans, weavers, and culture enthusiasts from across the country. The event is being held at the President’s official residence, turning it into a hub for cultural exchange, and bridging the gap between the nation’s vibrant heritage and its citizens.

At the inauguration ceremony, the President emphasized the significance of preserving and promoting India’s cultural legacy, saying, “Our country’s cultural heritage is a treasure trove that needs to be cherished and protected for future generations.” The festival will feature over 500 artisans and weavers, showcasing their traditional handicrafts, handlooms, and unique regional products, including Kanjeevaram and Kasavu sarees, Pochampally ikat, Mysore silk, and intricately crafted brass and wooden pieces. These delicate and elaborate creations will be on display from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of India.

The festival is a testament to the country’s diverse cultural heritage, with each region showcasing its unique traditions, skills, and craftsmanship. This is an opportunity for visitors to experience the beauty of India’s rich cultural landscape, immerse themselves in its vibrant heritage, and connect with the country’s artisans, weavers, and craftspeople.
