Urgent Call to Action: Tipra Motha Workers Must Boldly Combat Corruption, Declares Pradyot
On February 21, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, the founder of the Tipra Motha Party, issued a strong message to his party members, urging them to actively combat corruption associated with the party’s name. In a voice note, he expressed his concern over a group of party workers who are taking a proactive stance against corrupt practices.
Pradyot questioned the inaction of some party supporters, remarking, “My name is being tarnished, and you people are sitting idle. If you don’t have credibility or honesty, no matter how much money you earn, you will not find happiness. I urge everyone to fight against corruption. Corruption will create massive problems for our people and society.”
As the royal scion of the state, Pradyot emphasized that silence in the face of corruption is detrimental, especially to the indigenous community. He called on his followers not to support those exploiting the party’s name for corrupt activities and urged collective action against such practices for the community’s welfare. “I am fighting for you people in Delhi. Everyone must fight against such activities for the betterment of our community,” he asserted.
Pradyot’s appeal followed the circulation of a viral video on social media where two Tipra Motha party workers reportedly caught a government employee accepting a bribe. This incident prompted his reaffirmation of a zero-tolerance stance on corruption, urging his party to maintain integrity and transparency.
His message serves as a rallying cry for the party to uphold its values and protect the community’s interests by addressing corruption head-on. Pradyot’s commitment to battling corruption reflects a broader effort to ensure accountability and honesty within the political landscape, emphasizing the need for collective responsibility in fostering a just society.
