Unyielding Vigilance: Northern Railway’s Bold Measures to Ensure Safety at New Delhi Station

Northern Railway has taken proactive steps to prevent potential issues at New Delhi Railway Station. As part of these measures, all special trains heading to Prayagraj will now depart from platform 16, with entry and exit mandated through the Ajmeri Gate side. This strategy aims to reduce congestion during peak hours by evenly distributing passenger flow across multiple platforms. Regular train services will continue to operate from their usual platforms.

To enhance security and assist passengers, there’s been an increased presence of the Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police at the station. These officials are actively guiding passengers to ensure they reach the correct platform for their scheduled departures.

In response to the current passenger surge, Northern Railways has rolled out five special trains today to accommodate devotees traveling to Prayagraj. For inquiries or assistance during this busy period, passengers can contact the railway helpline at 139.

These initiatives are part of Northern Railway’s commitment to ensuring passenger safety and comfort during travel.
