Explosive Denial: Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan Makers Mini Films Refute Arushi Nishank’s Allegations – Bollywood News
Mini Films, spearheaded by producers Mr. Varun and Ms. Mansi Bagla, have firmly denied allegations of financial misconduct made by Arushi Nishank. Nishank accused the producers of mishandling ₹4 crores regarding a role in their forthcoming project, “Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan.” In an official statement, Mini Films categorically dismissed Nishank’s claims as entirely false and misleading, emphasizing the issue as a civil dispute for which they are pursuing legal action.
According to Mini Films, Nishank initially approached them in Mumbai, highlighting her political connections as the daughter of Uttarakhand’s ex-minister, and expressed interest in collaborating through her company, Himshri Films. Despite being politely turned down due to the film’s progressing status, Nishank allegedly offered to invest in the film in exchange for a minor role, suggesting that this would bolster her political career in Uttarakhand. She claimed to have close ties with the state’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, and cited her ability to draw significant political attention to the film.
However, Mini Films contends that after joining the project, Nishank began demanding a larger, parallel lead role. They recount an incident at a construction site near Dehradun Airport, where Nishank’s husband, Abhinav Pant, allegedly threatened them to coerce a bigger role for Nishank. Upon their refusal to cave under pressure, Mini Films terminated her involvement. Despite this removal, Nishank reportedly spread misleading PR, claiming she was a key part of the film’s cast.
Labeling Nishank as “media-hungry” with “temperamental issues,” Mini Films is actively pursuing legal action to address what they describe as false allegations. They urge the public and media to disregard Nishank’s claims and await legal resolution.
