In a striking debut, Himesh Reshammiya’s latest action-musical film, Badass Ravikumar, has achieved the most significant opening day box office figures of his career. Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya himself, the film has emerged as a spin-off to the 2014 movie The Xpose. Its retro 80s flair has attracted audiences, earning a remarkable Rs 2.49 crore net on its first day in India. Badass Ravikumar was released alongside the Gen Z romantic comedy Loveyapa, which stars Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi.
