Himanta Biswa Sarma Blasts Kejriwal as ‘Lying Machine’: Exposes AAP Chief’s Exaggerated Yamuna Cleanup Claims
During a rally in Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar Assembly constituency, Assam Chief Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a strong verbal offensive against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of being a “lying machine.” Sarma criticized Kejriwal for not adhering to his earlier promise to refrain from contesting elections if the Yamuna River remained polluted.
In a sharp critique, Sarma quipped that if legally permissible, he would compel Kejriwal to take a dip in the Yamuna before filing his nomination papers. Highlighting the broader issue of river pollution, the Assam Chief Minister argued that Kejriwal has become “dirty” and humorously suggested he should be taken to the Ganga and Brahmaputra for purification.
Sarma expressed confidence in the environmental restoration efforts of the BJP-led central government, asserting that with a year’s time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi could ensure the cleanliness of the Yamuna River.
