Her conditions included severe symptoms like ascites, pedal oedema, and jaundice. The transplant was performed by a skilled team at GEM Hospitals, headed by Dr. Magnus Jayaraj and Dr. Karthik Raj, specializing in liver diseases and transplant surgery. Remarkably, her niece donated a portion of her liver for the procedure. The patient is currently recovering well and is set to return to Myanmar soon, as stated in a recent press release.
