Maddock Films, led by producer Dinesh Vijan, has unveiled a groundbreaking lineup of films set to expand their Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe (MHCU). This ambitious slate features eight theatrical releases from 2025 to 2028, promising a unique fusion of humor and horror. Each film aims to deliver distinct narratives that will both entertain and captivate audiences.
Kicking off the MHCU in 2025, “Thama” will premiere during Diwali, setting the stage for this exciting franchise. Later that year, “Shakti Shalini” will close out the year with a supernatural extravaganza on December 31. In 2026, the highly anticipated “Bhediya 2,” featuring Varun Dhawan, will hit theaters on August 14, promising more thrills and chills. This will be followed by “Chamunda” on December 4, adding a mysterious and eerie narrative to the universe.
Fans can look forward to the return of a favorite in 2027 with “Stree 3,” slated for release on August 13. This installment is expected to continue the beloved franchise known for its cult status. Later in the year, “Maha Munjya,” which presents a fascinating genre mix, will debut on December 24. The grand conclusion to MHCU is planned for 2028, beginning with “Pehla Mahayudh” on August 11, and culminating with “Doosara Mahayudh” on October 11, promising an epic end to this cinematic saga.
