The lotteries take place under the supervision of the Director of Nagaland State Lotteries at P. R. Hill Junction, Kohima. To claim winnings, a winner must present an undamaged, original ticket with a filled-out lottery claim form, government-approved photo ID, and passport-sized photos. Any damaged or tampered tickets are considered invalid.
Distributors are authorized to dispense prizes up to ₹10,000. However, claims exceeding this must be submitted to the Director of Nagaland State or relevant Nodal Office within 30 days of the draw date. Such claims require the original signed winning ticket and completed claim forms to receive payments within 60 days.
