Empowering Northeast: Meghalaya CM Champions ‘Viksit Bharat’ Vision at Vibrant Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma participated in the Ashtalakshmi Mahotsav at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, where he underscored the importance of leveraging the Northeast’s vast potential to contribute to India’s development goals. Sangma stressed that the region should play a crucial role in the country’s ambition of becoming ‘Viksit Bharat’ or a developed nation.

The event, designed to accelerate the Northeast’s progress, saw CM Sangma extending his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government for their support towards the region.
