Tragic Accident in Guwahati: Heartbreaking Loss as Bike Crash Claims Life and Injures Two

A tragic accident in Silchar resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man, Sanjit Kumar Rabidas, and left two others severely injured after their bike crashed into a bridge railing in Sonai’s Amjurghat area on Friday night. According to police reports and witness accounts, Rabidas, a resident of Lakhipur sub-division, lost control of the speeding vehicle and died on the spot. It is alleged that he was attempting to elope with a minor girlfriend, accompanied by a friend, at the time of the accident. None of the three riders were wearing helmets, which contributed to the severity of the crash. Eyewitnesses described the collision as violent, with all three individuals being thrown from the bike upon impact. Local residents promptly arrived and transported the injured to a nearby hospital. The tragic incident underscores the dangers of speeding and not wearing protective gear while riding motorcycles.
