On Thursday, the joyous couple shared the news with their fans through a statement from their publicist. The statement expressed their immense happiness: “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings!”
Earlier in the week, Richa had posted pictures from a maternity shoot featuring her and Ali. The photos showcased Richa in a stylish dress, proudly displaying her baby bump. The couple initially announced Richa’s pregnancy on Instagram in February, with a touching post captioned, “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world.”
In a Mother’s Day interview with DNA in May, Richa shared her thoughts on impending motherhood. She reflected, “It still hasn’t hit me. I think it will hit me when I actually deliver. Right now, it’s just a biological thing that is happening. Mentally, I think it will take time to hit me.”
