Heartbreaking Tragedy: Silchar Circuit House Guard’s Devastating Suicide Shocks Guwahati
A tragic incident occurred at the Silchar Circuit House on Saturday, where a guard, named Ishwar Singha, tragically took his own life using his service firearm in the restroom. Ishwar, 51, hailed from Katakuama, Netaji Nagar, under Ratabari police station in the Karimganj district. According to Cachar SP Numal Mahatta, the incident took place around 2:30 pm, shortly after Ishwar finished his duty. Following the shooting, a police team quickly arrived at the scene and transported Ishwar to Silchar Medical College and Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.
In related news, an action committee led by the Mangalore Bar Association is organizing a padayatra to urge Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for the establishment of a Karnataka High Court circuit bench in Mangaluru.
