Amarnath Energizes Party Cadre: Exciting Series of Meetings Announced Soon
YSRCP leader and former Minister Gudivada Amarnath announced that the party is currently analyzing the reasons behind its recent electoral loss in the Visakhapatnam district. Speaking at a meeting of party leaders, including former MLAs, held at the YSRCP office in Yendada on Thursday, Amarnath stated that from next week, party leaders and cadres will be consulted for their feedback on the party’s performance.
“The feedback gathered from our leaders and party cadres will be communicated to party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he informed reporters. The introspective approach comes just one month after the new government took office. Amarnath indicated that YSRCP plans to closely monitor the new government’s functioning before publicly commenting on its policies.
Amarnath emphasized the party’s commitment to understanding and addressing public issues to regain trust. Addressing concerns about the volunteer system, he acknowledged that while volunteers provided significant public service, some party leaders believe the system has created a disconnect between the party and its base.
He also announced that the 75th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy will be celebrated in Visakhapatnam on July 8. The celebrations will include tributes to Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s statue in every division of Vizag district, along with large-scale service programs.
Mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari, former MLAs T. Nagi Reddy, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, MLC Varudu Kalyani, YSRCP leaders KK Raju, and GVMC YSRCP corporators, among others, attended the meeting. The series of planned meetings and feedback sessions are aimed at strategic introspection and reorganization to strengthen the party’s position and reconnect with the electorate.
