Shocking Bust: Police Heroically Recover 518 kg of Cocaine from Pharma Company in Gujarat
In a significant operation, the Delhi Police, in collaboration with the Gujarat Police, seized 518 kg of cocaine from a premises linked to Aavkar Drugs Limited in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, on October 13, 2024. The confiscated cocaine is valued at approximately ₹5,000 crore in the international market. This operation is part of an extensive investigation by Delhi Police’s Special Cell, which previously conducted a raid on October 1, in south Delhi’s Mahipalpur, seizing 562 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana. Further investigation on October 10 led to the recovery of an additional 208 kg of cocaine from a shop in Ramesh Nagar, Delhi. It has been alleged that the drugs belong to Pharma Solution Services and were procured from Aavkar Drugs Limited, which was established in 2016 and operates within 4,733.50 sq. m. of land in Ankleshwar Industrial Estate. The factory served as the primary point for refining the cocaine after it entered India. A few factory workers are being questioned, and the police have arrested seven individuals so far. The total value of the drugs seized across these operations is estimated at ₹13,000 crore.
