Telangana Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari convened a video conference at the Telangana Secretariat on October 17, 2024, to discuss the administration of the upcoming Group-I mains examination. Scheduled from October 21 to 27, the exams will be conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC). The meeting was attended by TGPSC Chairman Mahender Reddy, various commission members, DGP Jitender, and district collectors from Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Medchal, among others. The exams are set to take place at eight centers in Hyderabad with 5,613 aspirants expected to participate. Meanwhile, on the day before the conference, government job seekers staged a protest in Ashok Nagar, demanding the postponement of the exam.
