Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh has been crowned Femina Miss India 2024, emerging victorious at the prestigious beauty pageant held on October 16 at Famous Studios in Mumbai. Representing Union Territories, Rekha Panday secured the spot of first runner-up, while Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat came in third.

Nikita Porwal, currently pursuing higher education at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, has a flourishing career in acting. She launched her career at 18 as a TV anchor and has starred in films showcased at international festivals. Her passion for storytelling has led her to write “Krishna Leela,” a 250-page play, and she has also distinguished herself as a stage actress, performing in over 60 plays. Apart from her artistic endeavors, Porwal is committed to animal welfare.
The pageant began with a nationwide hunt, employing on-ground auditions to scout for the finest talents across India. The extensive selection process concluded with a rigorous boot camp aimed at refining the skills of the 30 shortlisted contestants.
Celebrating its rich legacy, the Miss India Organization commemorated the event’s 60th anniversary by launching a music anthem titled “Rise of Queen,” which pays tribute to India’s iconic beauty pageant. The anthem is available globally on streaming platforms.
