Outrage and Injustice: AAP Demands L-G Saxena’s Immediate Action Against Health Official Accused of Harassment in Delhi Hospital
Delhi – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has raised serious concerns over the alleged inaction against a health official accused of sexually harassing a female doctor in a Delhi Government hospital. During a press conference on October 12, 2024, Singh questioned Lt Governor VK Saxena about the lack of consequences for the accused official, despite an internal probe substantiating the allegations. The complaint was initially lodged by the woman doctor in October 2023, prompting an investigation by an internal committee only four months later, in March 2024. Singh highlighted that the committee confirmed the allegations but noted the continued absence of action against the medical superintendent. Urging accountability, the AAP leader called for measures against the Delhi Government’s Health Secretary and sought the arrest of the accused.
